'Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Turkey' Baseline Report is the outcome of a survey conducted to determine the basis of the current state of social entrepreneurship ecosystems and the obstacles and needs. The research team of the report: İstasyonTEDÜ Social Innovation Center TED University Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development Association Koç University and Koç University Social Impact Forum (KUSİF) Within the scope of the base research, information was collected through desk research, consultation meetings, face-to-face interviews and questionnaires. The most important distinguishing feature of the study is that it mainly focuses on the analysis at the ecosystem level and instead of evaluating individual actors; it aims to evaluate all actors, structures and the relations between them in a holistic way.  The research process took place between October 2018 - October 2019. The most basic suggestion that emerged as a result of the holistic evaluation of all the findings of the research is that capacity building studies targeting all actors with different functions at the ecosystem level should be accelerated. Some of the other findings in the report are as follows: The online survey participants were asked which of the ecosystem actors they had difficulty in connecting with. 66% of them are investors, 64% of funders and 51% stated that they have difficulties in meeting and establishing bonds with public institutions. According to the online survey results, the biggest problems after the lack of information; Lack of experience transfer between social enterprises, with 65%; Difficulty in accessing expert support in areas such as law, accounting and investment with 60% and a lack of human resources with 50%.
